Perhaps not for you there isn't. Existing as a empty shell and knowing that the end is permanent is not for most. Whether there is a God or not, faith in something greater than ourselves is what gives us the will to live and hope for something better.

Lastly to proclaim there is no God which can not be proven one way or the other, does that not in fact raise to the same level as those who are trying to make you believe in God.

just saying:)

Grow up.  Religion is childish, useless, and it drains our energy away from doing things needed to be done in the real world.

Who worse those who say there is no God or those who say there is, you can not prove one way or the other, which makes you as bad as those who you accuse.

Huh?  Translate that for me, if you can . . . . . .

There is absolutely no factual basis for a belief in any god.  Show me and I am a believer.  I recommend readings outside the Bible, and thinking about what the Bible actually states, and falsely contends, as do the Koran and every other "Holy Book" in existance.

Become more conversant in logic, shysics, biology, cosmology, and psychology.

I am not here to make you believe in anything, just saying you have no basis of proof one way or that other to say that there isn't. I will assume you believe in the big bang theory and if you do, would you have to witness this to believe it.

Lack of logic again!  One need not prove something does not exist!  One must prove something does . . . .

And which god?  What if there is a god (argument's sake only).  Perhaps you are worshipping the wrong one?

Oh, and I do not believe in sentient oranges; must I prove that to you, too?  (Probably!)

And a random question:  Why is Christ never noted for restoring an amputee's limb in his history of healing?  That would have, indeed, been miraculous.

Like it or not my proof is the bible, and other writtings from around the world that all realate to a deity of one belief or another, and your proof is what...my logic stands.  Do I believe in God, yes I do but I am not a fanatic and yes perhaps I believe in the wrong one. You have nothing to prove to me nor would I require it. I just signed on first time today and I see this obsession from you and Koff with people of faith, and on the other hand I have no obsession with atheist nor would I try to convert them. In regards to Christ, well Christ is not God. I see from what I read and the manner of your post,  Archie your a bitter man towards people of religion and I can only assume why for good or ill which we need not engage in.

Bitter?  Hardly.  Amazed and amused?  Definitely.  It is most interesting that atheists are accused of all sorts of mean-spirited things for politely and logically expressing their opinions!  (I may be an exception, since politeness is too PC for me for argument's purpose!)  It is almost as if the anger from religionists is a result of a lack of ability to argue the logic?  BTW,, one should not logically use a book to prove itself!  That, too, always amuses me.  Kind of like my telling you,  "I am a handsome man; if you don't think so, just ask me!"

Your personal beliefs are far from bothersome to me.  I'm sure that I, too, hold some infantile beliefs.  It is the creeping of religion into and a demand for the inclusion of religion in public arenas by governmental agencies and government employees that bothers me.
